As part on our annual training, our personnel recently completed CPD Oxygen (O²) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training focused on the emergency life support. The course covers procedures of how to work an AED and O² device safely and efficiently, allowing ABCO personnel to understand how the devices are effective in life saving.
ABCO personnel complete refresher training for AoFAQ Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (QCF) qualification annually. Many victims of sudden cardiac arrest could be saved if an initial shock could be delivered within the first few minutes. Early defibrillation and effective CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) are vital in the chain of survival following a cardiac arrest. This course is able to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to operate the AED safely.
